Buspirone

Busporine Prescription:
Busporine is especially effective in persons with generalized limited to moderate degree anxiety, not prescribed for severe anxiety, panic disorders, or obsessive-compulsive disorders. The doses of Busporine may take two or more weeks to show effect but the good aspect of this medicine is it does not cause sedation. Busporine comes as a tablet for oral administration.

Doses should be adjusted individually depending on the body response and tolerance. Initially 5 mg is recommended for 2 to 3 times daily. The doses may be increased as per requirement.

Busporine Missed Dose:
If you have missed a dose of Buisporine, if it is within 2 hours of your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Please do not double your doses in any situation.

Busporine Overdose:
The symptoms of Busporine overdose include upset stomach, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision. If you have taken an overdose of this medicine, seek immediate medical attention.

Busporine Side Effects:
There is no common known side effect for Busporine, however if following symptoms occur or remain for long time severely, please contact your doctor.

• vomiting
• constipation
• stomach pain
• headache
• dry mouth
• depression
• excitement
• fatigue
• nervousness
• difficulty sleeping
• lightheadedness
• weakness
• numbness

Continue to take Busporine after consulting your doctor if you experience the following less serious side effects

• skin rash
• itching
• fast or irregular heartbeat
• blurred vision
• unusual movements or the head or neck muscles

* Talk to your doctor about any side effect other than the following that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Busporine Precaution:
It is very important that your doctor knows all the medications you are taking, specially antihistamines; anticonvulsants such as carbamazepine, phenobarbital, and phenytoin; dexamethasone; diazepam; diltiazem; erythromycin; haloperidol; ketoconazole; itraconazole; MAO inhibitors and tranylcypromine; muscle relaxants; nefazodone; pain medications or narcotics; sedatives; sleeping pills; tranquilizers. At the same time, the doctor must know about your health problems, especially liver, kidney, or heart disease and high blood pressure. And do not forget to tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking Busporine, call your doctor and let him know. Again if you are going to have surgery, including dental surgery, let the doctor or dentist know that you are taking Buspirone.
