Xanax kept me Moving Forward after my Divorce

I would like to share how Xanax (and of course my dear Santa) helped me survive when I was nowhere...

I remember the time of last year, it was snowing in the early part of December, Christmas was near and other households were busy buying gifts and planning holidays. It was just a month since my tormented marriage came to an end. I had just shifted to a new apartment and was living alone. No one was there in my life to talk to and I was thoroughly depressed and asking myself, “what I am to do now? Why am I living?” I was looking for a reason to start my day, every morning, I was even asking myself, why should I get up and go to office? I loved to sleep as it would take me away from the reality of life, the reality I hated to accept, that I am ALONE! Somewhere I was not able to cope up with the loneliness in my life. Slowly, I blocked my mind so that no memory of my ex-husband could disturb me, but in this process, I lost my sleep, the anxiety of escaping from reality gripped me tightly and I started imagining things when I was in my bed with eyes shut but my brain running faster, unknown fears would creep in and I would pass the nights cold sweating. At the end, I would hear the birds chirping, and realize I did pass another sleepless night. I had to get up and go to office with that state of mind. Obviously I would be very tired and irritable whole day, and so inevitably I was ruining my office atmosphere and my colleagues started avoiding me and I felt all the more lonely as a passed by.

In my weak moments, suicidal thoughts were overpowering me…but Santa (name changed); who was our common friend (I and my ex-husband) pulled me out of this condition. She visited me on that Christmas, when I was least expecting anyone, behind the door, cursing myself…it was a surprise visit, I could not even imagined that someone was there to wish me, to buy me gifts on that day. She was like a real Santa to me…who gave me back my life. Even today I feel so touched when I remember her hugging me and wishing me “Marry Xmas”! Next day she took me to the psychotherapist and then my life was moving positively ahead. I was on Xanax treatment for the next three months and with the help of that medication and with the care I received from Dr. Davidson and Santa, I came back to my normal state of mind and started a new life.

Xanax helped me to win over my phobias and my suicidal thoughts, and at the same time it helped me sleep so that my physical condition could remain normal. There is a list of people whom I would like to thank after I am back to my normal life. I have concentrated on myself and my career, I found my real love, I am happy today! Thanks a ton to you Santa, thank you Dr Davidson and thank you dear Xanax!
